Hurma Support and Training Ltd. is a social sector company founded in 2024 that offers high-quality religious and culturally conscious services, training, and consultation. We serve authorities, private individuals, and communities.
Our operations are based on solid professionalism in social work and psychological counseling and the courage to be yourself. We have unique expertise in religion-conscious encounters, particularly in the significance of the Islamic religion for people's holistic well-being.
Our Story
Where did Hurma's support and training begin?
Friends and sisters in faith, Elina, Pia, and Minna run the company. We have all worked in social work, counseling, and Islamic psychology for a long time and have been active in various Muslim organizations and communities.
Through our extensive work experience and long-term involvement in communities and the NGO sector, we have identified a pressing need for the Finnish service system to cultivate broader expertise in themes related to religion and culture. Our society is increasingly diverse, and cultural and religious awareness skills and knowledge are indispensable in social and healthcare services. In our work within Muslim communities, we have also observed a demand for training in services and guidance that consider religion, as many community members aspire to assist others.
These insights culminated in the establishment of Hurma Support and Training Ltd. We leverage our accumulated experience in the company, blending it with the expertise gained from our diverse training. Our overarching goal is to foster religious awareness and cultural literacy in society and the service system through our services. We also aim to provide faith-based consultation and training for individuals and communities.
